The Charles River surrounds it on the north, Cabot Park Village to the west, Grant Avenue to the south, and Tremont Street on the east. This neighborhood covers a considerable chunk of Newton, MA. As its name implies the community grew from the intersection or corner of Washington and Centre Street. Today the suburb serves as an ideal bedroom community with well-established commercial areas and easy access to Central Boston.
